Mick's vocals are on full display, with more than a touch of Elliott Smith in the DNA. The working title Adam gave him was “A Big Disappointment.” What came back was lonely, but not without some room for optimism. Adam leaned into that streak in the mix and the instrumentals at the end. To Mick, it sounds like the song ends on a sunny beach.
