Liner note.
The base track was two guitars — Adam and Jason — recorded live at Jason Presley's home studio in Philadelphia, a converted indoor swimming pool. The arrangement was weird enough that it took eight or ten takes to get right. The keeper went down at about 1:45 a.m. Adam had sent Ryan the lyrics on June 22 and the instrumental six days later. They weren't originally intended for each other, but they worked. Ryan recorded the vocal on June 30. Keys and additional vocals were added later to finish it.
